Welcome to Quairading

Quairading is a beautiful town nestled in the Central Wheatbelt of Western Australia, just 167km east of Perth on the York-Quairading Road.
We're a farming community with a population of about 1200, producing cereal and grain crops (heaps of wheat and stunning canola!), forestry (like sandalwood!), wool, sheep and cattle, supported by rural service industries. Our community provides a variety of volunteer-run cultural, sporting and social activities.

Quairading Ag Show
Celebrating 100 years in 2020 on Saturday 10th October 2020. An excellent day out for the whole family with heaps to see and do – including the Quairading Quick Shear in the evening and fireworks.
Quairading Curtain Raisers
A dedicated team of local volunteer cast and crew perform a musical every other year at the Quairading Town Hall. Rehearsing for three months and performing four dinner shows through late October, 2019 saw an incredible production of Mamma Mia. Keen an eye on social media for the next show – will be announced mid-2021.

The Mutton Cup
An annual celebration of football, sheep farming and all the fun that’s in between. The Quairading Football Club’s annual club fundraising event, The Mutton Cup, held at the Ag Shed near the Quairading Oval features a band, bar, banter and the friendly racing of local sheep! An event to be seen to be believed.
