Located in the heart of the Wheatbelt, the vibrant Kulin Region offers a fantastic array of visitor experiences and is a convenient stopover for those travelling to Wave Rock or between Perth and Esperance.
Famous for our quirky Tin Horse Highway, annual Bush Races event and giant waterslide, the vibrant Kulin region provides a true rural experience. Kulin is also the perfect base to explore the Eastern Wheatbelt. Easy day trips can be made to many of the region’s unique and iconic sights including Wave Rock. Kulin Bush Races
Annually held in September/October
The Kulin Bush Races is far more than just horse races. The weekend offers up to 4,000 excited guests a wide range of events and activities starting on Friday afternoon and finishing up with a good hearty breakfast on Sunday morning.
There is something for everybody; camping, live music, novelty events, kids' entertainment, races and great country hospitality. Come and join the fun!
Kulin Discovery Zone
Experience Kulin’s brand new Discovery Zone. The unique area has transformed Kulin's main street and town site precint by showcasing Kulin in a unique and informal way, giving visitors a sense of the region’s history and identity. The zone contains information points, interpretive signage and artworks which tell of Kulin’s past, present and future and includes the following amenities:
War Memorial, Town Centre Park and Stage, RV Friendly, 72 Hour parking & Dump Ezy Point, Public Toilets and Showers, Picnic Shelters and BBQ, Rehabilitated creeks, Playground, Extensive landscaping - planting, paths, boardwalks and lawn areas.
